Question Plan
This page covers admin-only tools in the sayhii portal. It's visible to organization admins, not to regular team members.
Screenshots on this page are being refreshed to match the current portal.
What kinds of questions will users see—and when? Are questions even active right now? The Question Plan page is where you’ll find those answers.
Questions Plan
The base Questions Plan shows how sayhii’s core questions are scheduled. These questions are grouped into phases and spread across days. Once the final phase is completed, the plan loops back to Phase 1 and starts again.
Each phase is designed with a specific focus. For example, Personality questions are emphasized early in the program (especially in the first 90 days) because they help shape the overall experience. Later phases introduce a broader mix of themes based on ongoing engagement.
This page also shows whether questions are currently being delivered, and lets you turn delivery on or off for your organization. Frequently, sayhii will activate the plan for you—but you have control.
Phases
Phases represent the structure used by the organization's Question Plan. The number of phases currently included in the plan is displayed near the top of the page. The phases available may vary depending on how the organization's plan is configured.
Catching Up
Catching Up controls how sayhii handles missed questions when someone returns after being away. Rather than presenting an entire backlog at once, sayhii provides a limited number of additional questions each day until the employee is caught up.
Administrators can set the maximum number of questions an employee may receive while catching up, from 1 to 5 questions. For example, if this is set to 3 and someone returns from a 3-day absence, they'll be given 3 questions.
Missed questions do not continue building indefinitely. After an extended absence, older missed questions will no longer be included in the employee's catch-up process.
Scheduled Modules
If your organization has additional modules available—either Custom Modules you've created or modules provided by sayhii—you’ll see a Scheduled Modules section appear below the base Questions Plan.
Click the SCHEDULE MODULE button to see the list of available modules. Once you select one, you’ll be asked to choose the start and end dates for the module and its question order:
- Module Default – Questions are delivered in the order you created them.
- Random – Questions are delivered in a random order instead.
A separate Reset questions for this schedule checkbox restarts the module's questions from the beginning instead of continuing from where a previous run left off, independent of the order you chose.
Once scheduled, modules will appear in a list showing their active date ranges—even if that time period has already passed.
You can Unschedule a module to remove it entirely. There's currently no way to edit an existing schedule's dates or temporarily disable it without removing it—to change the window, unschedule it and create a new schedule.
You can schedule the same module more than once. For example, if you want to repeat a short set of questions each quarter, you could create a Custom Module and schedule it to run during the first week of each new quarter.
Daily Reset Timezone
Each day, sayhii determines when a new question becomes available based on a daily reset time. By default this follows a standard timezone, but you can set your organization's own timezone from this page so the daily reset lines up with your team's actual workday.
If your organization spans multiple timezones, pick the timezone where most of your people are based. This setting is org-wide, not per-user.
Module Pool
The Module Pool displays the question modules currently available as part of the organization's Question Plan.
Each module may display:
- The module name.
- A short description.
- Whether the module is designated as the organization's primary module.
The modules shown here may vary depending on the organization's configuration.
