My Vitals

My Vitals shows how you are doing in three key areas: Resources, Demands, and Work-Life Balance.

The page is built from your own answers and provides weekly averages that can help you recognize patterns in your experience over time. This is a private page that only you can see. Your individual answers and personal results do not appear anywhere else in the portal.

The three Vitals are connected, so a shift in one area may affect the others. For example, changes in your workload may also affect the resources you need or how well you are balancing work with the rest of your life.

tip

Check your Vitals regularly and look for changes across all three areas. A shift in one Vital may help explain what is happening in another.

What You Will See

Each Vital may include:

  • Your score for the current week.
  • Your four-week average.
  • Your organization's four-week group average.
  • Your team's four-week group average, when applicable.
  • A graph showing your weekly averages over time.
  • A short explanation of what the Vital represents.

Team and organization averages are provided as reference points, not as direct comparisons. These group averages are anonymized and only appear when at least five people have answered.

note

What your organization sees is limited to anonymous group averages. It cannot see this page, your personal scores, or your individual answers.

Resources

What it means: The support and tools you have available to do your work—information, technology, guidance, staffing, communication, and organizational support that help you complete your responsibilities.

Why it matters: Having the right resources can reduce unnecessary stress, remove barriers, and make it easier to perform your work effectively.

How to respond: If your Resources score changes, consider whether you have the tools, information, and support you need. Look for bottlenecks or areas where additional assistance may be helpful.

Demands

What it means: The load that your work is placing on you—the physical, emotional, or psychological pressure associated with your workload and responsibilities.

Why it matters: Demands can affect energy, focus, stress, and overall well-being. They are especially important to consider alongside Resources.

How to respond: If your Demands score changes, consider what may have shifted in your workload or responsibilities. Review whether your available resources and support are keeping pace.

warning

A change in Demands without enough Resources or support may signal a greater risk of stress or burnout.

Work-Life Balance

What it means: How well the week is balancing work with everything else in your life.

Why it matters: A healthy balance can support long-term wellness, reduce overload, and make it easier to remain present both at work and outside of work.

How to respond: If your Work-Life Balance score changes, consider whether adjustments to workload, scheduling, expectations, or personal boundaries may be helpful.

How Vitals Are Calculated

Vitals are scored on a scale from 1 to 5. The page displays your weekly averages and may also show your average across the most recent four weeks. The trend graph grows as additional weekly results become available.

Skipped questions do not count against you.

Team and organization results are calculated using anonymous group responses from the previous four weeks. These averages only appear when at least five people have answered, helping protect individual anonymity.

note

Users with access to organizational reports may also see an organization-wide Vitals page under Insights. It uses the same three categories but displays anonymous averages across the organization rather than personal results.
