User and Department Management Features
We've heard from organizations that user and department management can be one of the most time-consuming parts of getting sayhii set up well. It matters because the right user list, department memberships, and department hierarchy all affect how questions are delivered and how reporting is organized.
Looking ahead, we also want to give organizations more control over how different departments experience sayhii. You could imagine, for example, using different question phrasing for people in accounting than for people on the manufacturing floor.
With this release, we've added a new interface to make it easier to manage your users, your department hierarchy, and user memberships in departments.
For full details, you'll want to refer to the documentation, but here are the highlights.
User Management
On the Organization page in the admin portal, you can now add individual users without first creating a CSV file to upload. You can also edit existing users directly, including details like manager, department, and role.
Department Management
sayhii administrators can now create a custom department hierarchy for their organization.
If your organization uses an HRIS integration, you can import groups from your HRIS into the hierarchy or map HRIS groups to departments you've already defined in sayhii.
If you aren't using an HRIS, you can still configure the hierarchy manually and map users from your file uploads into the right departments.
This gives you more control over how reporting is structured across your organization.
